100% the best trekking & climbing operator in Nepa

Imperial Nepal is exceptional. We completed a 23 day, personalised climbing & trekking expedition, in the Khumbu region in March 2024. The ease of planning, quality of service and cost, was better than any of my previous experiences in Nepal. I would absolutely recommend this company and will be using them for all my future expeditions in Nepal. Communication with Paras while planning the trip was brilliant. He responded to all of my queries within 24 hrs and made sure the program achieved all of our goals in the most efficient way. There is a strong preference for using WhatsApp to communicate. For those new to Nepal, this can be a little different to what they may be used to. Don’t sweat it. It works really well in particular once you arrive in country. All trip logistics and administration connections were seamless. People met us at airports, flights were well planned with redundancies, trekking and climbing permits were all done in advance, so we could concentrate on the experience. As our program involved trekking and climbing, we had two guides supporting us. Both were extremely well-qualified and experienced. Our trekking guide, Babu, was amazing. He has been a professional guide for 15 years. As you would expect, his local knowledge and network was excellent. Most notably, he’s attention to detail was the best I have ever experienced. When I got a little sick, He booked a teahouse room with an ensuite. I had no idea they even existed. it was a small gesture, made life a lot more comfortable. When we were offline while climbing, he sent updates to our next of kin to let them know we were okay… not necessarily essential, but it highlights how much they care about us, and those who support us while we away. Our climbing guide, Pemba, was a seasoned 8000m operator. He knew every route and line on the mountains we were climbing. He took the time to explain the weather and environment to us, to help our understanding of the mountains. We couldn’t have asked for more. Finally, when the ice and snow predictably closed Lukla airport and people were scrambling for the few seats on the remaining helicopters (at eye watering prices), Paras and Babu managed to secure us a seat on the only flight out for several days at no extra cost. it was a powerful example of why local operators are often the best. Exceeded all expectations.

One of the best experiences of my life. I went for a solo trip for my 40th birthday. I had little trekking experience, so I think I had an exorbitant number of questions for Paras, the trek coordinator and owner, before I even arrived. He was available day or night via WhatsApp to answer my questions. He was amazingly patient with me! From the minute you arrive in Katmandu until you depart, this experience is completely seamless. Hari was assigned as my guide. However, Hari turned out to be much more than just a guide. Along the journey he was a mentor, advisor, comedian, and most importantly a great friend. Hari has done well over 100 treks and knew the lay of the land very well. We met many other travelers along the trek, and I noticed more and more how Hari seemed to know more than other guides. He was certainly giving more advice I felt than other guides and was more available to conversate in general. He said from the outset that the goal was to make it to base camp and get back safely, and that's exactly what we did. Kiran was our porter and did an excellent job as well. I would highly recommend this travel agency for your trip! I will certainly be back! Pro Tip: Bring playing cards for the evenings in the tea houses. But beware, Hari is really good at that too! joedonohue2 Miami,

Everest Base Camp Trek Review

I had the absolute best experience doing the Everest Base Camp Trek with Imperial Nepal Tours with Hari as my guide and Kiran as my porter. This was my first time doing a long trek/hike like this and it couldn’t have gone smoother. Hari was able to answer every question I had during the trek as he was extremely knowledgeable, and Paras (one of the owners) was available via WhatsApp if I ever had any logistical questions. I could not recommend this trek any more! If you do sign up, make sure to ask for Hari as your guide as he is one of the best. He speaks fluent English, is very kind, and knowledgeable about Nepal and the mountains. Anne K

A MEMORABLE HIKE- ANNAPURNA CIRCUIT TREK

Four of us (3 trekkers from Malaysia, and one Dutch trekker from Netherlands), we went with Imperial Nepal Treks during our recent Annapurna Circuit Trek (October 2023). Previously, in October 2019, we first engaged this Nepali trekking company for our EBC trek. They offered a reasonably priced trek excursion package with experienced guides and porters, and as our earlier 2019 experience was positive, we chose them again. This ACT trek took 11 days, but we stayed in Nepal for a total of 15 days. Arriving in Kathmandu, we stayed overnight in Thamel district. Next morning, we travelled westbound in 4-wheel drive for Chyamche. Took us almost 12 hours, instead of the usual 8 hours due to the extensive road works not far from Kathmandu. For this ACT trip, Imperial Nepal Treks provided us with a guide and two porters, who were knowledgeable and reliable. A winning combination. In brief, our trek was from Chyamche to Dharapani (overnight) to Chame (overnight) to Lower Pisang (overnight) to Manang where we stayed for two nights to acclimatise (via the higher elevation route of Ghyaru and Ngawal; a longer trek of additional 3 hours, but we were rewarded with sighting of traditional Nepali houses and better vistas, from that higher elevation). From Manang, we trekked to Yak Kharta (overnight). Although, we had originally supposed to stay at Thorung Phedi, we didn't, as we were advised by Mr. Mani (our Guide) that it would be advantageous for us to push ahead to the high base camp (475m higher), so that we would have an easy ascent - steeper trek done the day earlier, due to its close proximity to Thorung La Pass. The highlight of ACT is Thorung La Pass, the highest mountain pass in the world, a nice accolade for us, the tired trekkers. From there, it was a sharp descent trek to Muktinath (overnight), and finally Jomsom (overnight). Took a van ride with other locals to Pokhara, where we chilled out for 2 days, before flying back to Kathmandu. Steve C

Amazing time in the Himalayas

Me and my husband had an amazing time in the Himalayas with Imperial Nepal Trek! We got picked up at the Kathmandu airport and Ram, the company owner, was waiting for us at the hotel to (re)explain everything about our trek to EBC. We left to the Himalayas on December 19th, with our guide Mani and had an amazing two weeks experience exploring the region. I definitely recommend this guys! We got all the attention and care we needed to feel safe during the trip! Thank you, Ram, Mani and our Porter Kiran, for everything! Rubia D

2 WEEKS ANNAPURNA CIRCUIT TREKKING

Successfully did 2 weeks Annapurna circuit trekking along with my daughter and Guide Mani. It was amazing experience. The guide was so good that he planned everything at micro level and executed flawlessly. He guided us through difficult terrains, harsh weather conditions, especially in Thorong La pass and instilled confidence when we felt weak. He took care of our food and accommodation also very well. Will go again to other adventurous hikes with him. I can definitely vouch for him! Vijay R

Trekking to ABC is as easy as abc with Imperial Nepa

We did the ABC trek on a 12 day package from Kathmandu with Imperial Nepal. It was a meet and greet by the boss Paras when we arrived at TIA. We stayed at Thamel which was very close to the eateries and shopping. The next day the eight of us went for a city tour organised by Imperial and were treated to a welcome dinner. We flew to Pokhara on the 3rd day, was abit chaotic at the domestic terminal but our guide Shiva Lamsal was on hand to ensure that we got through security and into the waiting lounge swiftly. We met our porters on arrival and were whisked away to the start of our trek at Phedi. The next 6 days was the climb upwards to ABC and Shiva will brief us every night and again in the morning on the day's arrangements. Aside from his official duties, he also had a good sense of humour and he made the tedious trek alot more fun and informative. We were all very pleased with the choice of guest houses, except for Himalaya and above, we always had ensuite bathrooms and more importantly, power points for our devices. Helped us saved quite abit. Shiva was also helpful in getting us upgrades like on the bus from Pokhara to Kathmandu. Overall it was a great experience with Imperial Trek, Paras, Shiva and Ramchandra (our porter) for being attentive, arranging the stay at good guest houses and always having a smile on their faces. Although we just got back, I've already bought my next ticket to Kathmandu and had reached out to Paras/ Shiva for another trekking adventure with Imperial Nepal in 2024. Clbong

Excellent Experience

In December 2023, we embarked on the EBC trek, organized by Imperial Nepal Trek & Expedition. This journey was not just a trek but an experience of a lifetime, made exceptional by the professionalism and warmth of our guide Dinesh and our porter Darphon. Dinesh demonstrated an impressive depth of knowledge about the region, its culture, and the intricacies of the trek. Darphon, our porter, was the unsung hero of our trek. His hard work, dedication, and ever-present smile, even during the most challenging parts of the trek, were truly inspiring. Dinesh and Darphon were not just professionals doing their job; they became our friends, sharing stories, laughter, and insights into Nepalese life. Their commitment to our safety and enjoyment was unwavering, making us feel valued and cared for. Fang Howe L

Excellent Service and Amazing Experience to ABC

Had a great experience with Imperial Nepal which was highly recommended by a friend who did both ABC and EBC trek with them. Paras was really helpful to provide us all the information we needed prior the trip and he came multiple times to meet us in Kathmandu to ensure that all are in order. He even made an extra effort to bring forward the farewell dinner and bought a cake to celebrate 1 of our friend's birthday. Such sweet gesture. We were indeed very happy with their services. Shiva, our guide will brief us every night on the next day's arrangements and answer our questions if any. Without him and the 4 porters, Ram, Bisal, Sujan and Susil, we wouldn't have made it to the base camp. It was an amazing experience with Shiva pointed out some interesting discoveries along the trek. Thank you Imperial Trek, Paras & team for making our trip so pleasant. Will highly recommend those who are looking for a good agent!
