Unforgetable tour

We booked a two week tour with Imperial Nepal after reading such good reviews on Trip Advisor and we weren't disappointed. You don't need to be a trekker or young, free and single to enjoy Nepal! Paras organised a bespoke Kathmandu/Pokhara/Chitwan tour for us which also included stays in Bandipur and Nagarkot. We had our own driver, Binod, for the whole time and he was excellent! Nothing was too much trouble as far as dealing with Paras was concerned, in fact he even tweaked our tour the day we arrived so flexibility was second to none. We had 3 separate stays in Kathmandu and each night Paras visited us to check we were ok. While we were out of Kathmandu he rang our driver regularly to make sure there were no problems and we were on our way to the next destination. Paras really came in to his own when, soon after our arrival, my husband's debit card was swallowed by an ATM and we were due to leave Kathmandu early the next morning. In our absence Paras contacted the bank, located the card and on our return some 9 days later accompanied us to the bank to retrieve the card and even put in a complaint to the manager on our behalf! One of our must do's was to see Everest. Paras suggested we take a helicopter tour with Simrik Air instead of the plane trip we had already booked, and although expensive it was the best decision we made. The whole experience lasted over 4 hours and included two landings at Lukla (such a boast to have landed at this famous airstrip not once but twice!) and breakfast at the Everest View Hotel. Thank you Paras for suggesting this tour, we will never, ever forget that wonderful experience. Paras chose really good hotels for each place we stayed and we felt confident that if we encountered any problems help was just a phone call away. We could not have asked for a more friendly and efficient tour company and would not hesitate to recommend Imperial Nepal Treks. Julie J Dorchester, United Kingdom

Couldn't have been better!

Myself and my Dad did the Everest Base Camp trek. Ram was our guide, and he was incredible every step of the way. Vast knowledge of the trek, and tailored it to us to make the trip enjoyable and comfortable. The manager Paras met us at the hotel the first night and gave us a thorough run through of our itinerary, and on the last night we were treated to a wonderful farewell dinner in a traditional Nepalese restaurant, which was such a lovely way to end the trip. On the trek, Ram was always right by our sides, making sure everything was ok. Unfortunately at the top I got pulmonary edema from the altitude, but Ram looked after me until he was able to get a helicopter. We saw other people who were in similar situations, where their guides barely said two words to them - Ram was with me every 5 minutes, bringing me water or asking if i was ok. Couldn't ask for more from a guide. If you're doing any treks in Nepal, I couldn't recommend this company more! Shell M

9 Days Poonhill and ABC

Did a 9 days trekking Poonhill and Annapurna base camp with Imperial Nepal Treks. Mr Ram, the manager was very helpful with prompt reply for our preparation for the trip. Airport transfer from Kathmandu to hotel and the transfer to Pokhara was smooth. The guide K.C and porter Siba were nice guys. On the 6th days when we reached ABC there was no more rooms or bed available. The weather was cold and windy. We only manage to get a tent for the night. Luckily at about 5pm we were given a bed, I believed this was through our guide vast experience and well connections with the locals. Thanks Imperial Nepal for this great trip. Looking forward for another trekking in Nepal soon. ronald y

Everest Base Camp

A wonderful experience. Imperial met us at Kathmandu airport and transported us to our hotel. Paras met with us at the hotel and gave us a rundown of our itinerary. The next morning we were taken on a guided tour of Kathmandu and later a meal at a traditional restaurant. The next day flights to Lukla and my Guide Dinesh and Porter Lakman were simple awesome and really looked after me. They are great characters and we enjoyed our interaction with them. The accommodation and meals during the trek were above expectations. The Imperial Nepal Trek staff went the extra yards to make my time in Nepal a wonderful experience.Thank You so much and can't wait to visit you again and go on a another trekking adventure Esmond Aponso Melbourne Australia

Amazing sights, amazing people!

Just returned from the 16 day trek to Everest Base Camp with INT. From the start, communications with Paras were good, and he answered all of our questions adequately. When we arrived in Kathmandu, the taxi was waiting to pick us up at the airport and take us to the lovely Aryatara hotel in Thamel (great hotel and great location). INT had arranged a tour of some of the major tourist attactions for us for the next day and they were an interesting mix! Never seen a cremation before!!! On the next day (Tuesday) we were up early and Hari our guide for the trek, met us at the hotel and took us to the airport for the flight to Luckla. Big disappointment here though, as the flights to Luckla were cancelled due to bad weather, but Hari managed to get them rescheduled for the next morning, so it was back to Aryatara hotel and retry again tomorrow. On the Wednesday, flights were running with just a little delay, and the adventure began. After arriving in Luckla, we had lunch and we were introduced to our porters, Binod and Modan, who were exceptionally good at what they do, and had a cool, calm demeanour about them and they just got on with what they needed to do. The trek was a wonderful experience, with views that literally took your breath away (especially as we climbed past the 4000m mark and the air got thinner and thinner). I made the mistake of not using my scarf/snood early enough and got a rasping sore throat and the dreaded Khumbu Cough! If you are going to do this trek, try wearing a scarf/snood from as low as Namche Bazaar to prevent this. All the way on the trek, Hari and the guys kept asking us if we were OK, and making sure we kept hydrated and were eating enough to get us there and back. I cannot thank the 2 porters enough for the amount of hard work they did for us!!! I don't think I could have picked our bags up never mind carried them half way up Everest. Cheers guys! Due to the delay at the start of the trek, due to flight cancellations, we had changed our return flights to England and gave ourselves a couple of extra days to play with at the end of the trek. Luckily enough we didn't need them, as the flights from Luckla were on schedule, but Paras also arranged a couple of extra nights accommodation for us at Kathmandu, which we were more than happy to pay for, until it was time for us to leave for the airport. It wasn't at the Aryatara, but the hotel was adequate. Paras also arranged for the taxi to pick us up from the hotel and get us to the airport in time for our flight home. All in all, a wonderful experience that will be remembered for the rest of my life, and once again a big THANK YOU! to the guys, Hari, Binod and Modan for looking after us so well. twixman50 Newcastle

EBC Trek

I would like to start by saying that it was a very good decision by choosing Imperial Nepal Treks for our EBC trek. They are very friendly and know what they are doing. I would also recommend our guide Sujan and all his subordinate staff, who took great care of all of us. A small thing I would like to mention here is that during the EBC trek charging of the batteries is chargeable at every tea house but Sujan, our guide, used to give me his own power bank to charge all of my electronics and also used to get us clean drinking water whenever we would ask him, which again is very costly. Also whenever we used to ask him anything about the trek , he would give us correct information about it. I would highly recommend this tour company for Nepal trekking. SaddamRiyaz

EBC GAP tour

Great communication from the beginning, the trips itself was good value for money. The guide/porter and organiser Hari, Ram and Ram (manager of your company) all presented as friendly and knowledgeable. Overall had a great experience with this company, offered us to keep the duffle bags provided and listened to our feedback on teahouses etc. Would definitely book with them again. snap_happy_scotsman Perth, United Kingdom

Yes they know how to do it..

We have spend fantastic 13 days with imperial nepal company. Before you going, you will be totally be sure are you with the true guys or not? Because mountains conditions are so tough and easily changes. But all imperial team know his job very well. First of all thanks for Ram and Peras for their organisation. But for us the biggest thanks come to our super friends santos and pemba. During 13 days they were helped for any conditions from lukla to gorakshep. Due to bad weather I was sick and could not sleep Till morning and all this time santos was with me. Pemba opened his house to us gave rice wine and her daughter's smile to us. Both they know mountains, nepal and everything about the country and culture. Yes you may try trekking with any company. But if you want to make a unforgettable experience you should definitely go with this friends. Before going up, please be sure about time and weather conditions and spend 3 more days before and after trekking. We have waited 2 days due to lukla weather conditions. The best times is October , november. But we have good luck and saw the all himalayan ranges with no cloud and bright shine. Himalayan and nepal are waiting for you. You should definitely come here with imperial group. ernur p Izmir Province, Turkey

Imperial trekking is really helpful! I didn't have a fix date yet and planned to go on November(informed Paras from Imperial around July), and when suddenly I changed date to less than a week before i go eqrly Sept, Imperial can still made it fine. Furthermore, the guide, Sudip is really helpful, he help guiding me through the trekking. Too bad I cant complete the ABC as I fell sick, but it's still an awesome exprience with awesome tour company! Really recommend Paras&Sudip! Christian Leona... L

5 Star Everest Base Camp and Kala Patar Trek with the best guide

We had the most wonderful trek in late May 2017. We give 5 stars to Imperial Nepal. We checked with about 8 trek companies prior to our trip, including 2 companies that our friends' had used. We found Imperial Nepal on the internet and Imperial Nepal with Paras was the most responsive and answered many of our questions prior to the trek. We inquired about food, accomodations, length of the trek, weather, clothes, bathrooms, scenery and helicopters. Paras answered all of our questions. All of our expectations on accomodations, food and facilities were as Paras described, so there were no surprises. Paras had himself worked as a guide for about 5 years prior to working in the sales for Imperial Nepal so he had first had experience on treks. Imperial Nepal provided first class service. They picked us up from the airport, arranged our hotel in Kathmandu, met us the first day to discuss each day of the trek, went shopping with us for equipment and outfitted us with sleeping bags and jackets. Their tour was very organized. Each day the night before, they would let us know how many miles, how many hours, and the elevation or difficulty to expect, including the type of accomodations we would pull into. There were no surprises and we had a really smooth trek. We had 6 in our group and none of us had any altitude sickness, not even a headache. The best of Imperial Nepal was their service and friendliness to our family. For our party of six, we had 3 proters and 1 wonderful guide, Sanjan. Throughout the trek, Sanjan gave us tidbits of the history of Nepal, tidbits of the Nepal culture and customs, and tidbits of religion. That made our trek really interesting and personable. We felt like we were being taken on a private trip to their beautiful, treasured homeland, and that made our trip the more special. Our guides were really helpful. At all times, there was a porter for each group of hikers, ie one in the front with the fast group, one in the back for the slow group, and 2 more for the middle. Our guides were always enthusiastic and helpful to us particularly in the early morning hours as we climbed Kala Pathur to 18,300. Our trek with Imperial Nepal felt like a personal family trip. On the night before our trek we were taken to a restaurant with authentic Nepalese food and dancers and our last night before we left, we were also treated to a going home dinner. I highly recommend Imperial Nepal and will return to the beautiful country of Nepal for another trek. Shelly W
