My unforgettable Everest Base Camp Trek including Gokyo Lakes

My 18 day trek to Everest Base Camp included the magnificent Gokyo Lakes and the very famous Chola Pass. Our incredibly experienced, fun, friendly guide, Hari, knew every single mountain peak, every trail, every teahouse and almost every guide and porter that we passed knew our Hari! Every step we took was under the watchful eye of Hari, helping us negotiate trails that were covered in snow and ice. He was truly the best guide you could ever wish for. We encountered some unexpected and unprecedented weather conditions that added some extra challenges to our trek, but Hari never wavered in his positivity and confidence in us to get over The Pass and onto Everest Base Camp. We were a small group of 3 trekkers, I am a very inexperienced trekker but never once felt I would not achieve my dream of reaching Everest Base Camp because Hari was our voice of positivity and always encouraging us that our dream was possible. Our amazing porters Ghobinda and Prashanta were so patient, unbelievably fit and the most kind and happy porters you could ever have. In many areas of the trek where we needed extra help, they would both come back after dropping our heavy bags off, and help us navigate our way safely until I was capable of letting go of their hand. WE DID IT!! THANKYOU SO MUCH HARI, GHOBINDA AND PRASHANTA. ?? Sue G 2 contributions

Poonhill - di Himal Trek

It's my third trek in Nepal, and also my third time with Imperial Nepal and their wonderful guide - Hari, who has become a good and close friend of mine. I guess that already explains something special about Nepal and the company. This time I did a 8-day trek to poonhill and then mardi himal. As usual, Hari is very reliable and humorous. He is a person you can rely on along the trek in terms of safety, food and accomodations, transport, adhoc changes to itinerary and knowledge. He is also friendly to other nepali and travellers so that we can often make many more friends throughout the trek. Most importantly, I am sure he will make your trek more fun and enjoyable, that's what he values most. mstchg Hong Kong, China1 contribution

My unforgettable Himalayan Trek

I had an incredible 18 day trek to Gokyo Lakes and Everest Base Camp including the Cholo Pass. Our expert guide Hari was an incredible leader, safely guiding us through snow and ice and making new tracks due to the snowfall, never once doubting that we couldn't make it. I am a very novice trekker and can't thank the team enough at Imperial for the way in which they conducted the entire trek. Our porters, Ghobinda and Prashanta were so patient, kind and helpful, and always smiling. I cannot recommend this tour company more highly. Do yourselves a favour and book your Himalayan Trek through Imperial. Sue G 2 contributions

Great experience with Imperial at EBC trek

My wife and I hired Imperial Nepal Treks for our trek to the Everest Base Camp and had a wonderful time. Mr. Ram Regmi provided the information we needed beforehand, and assisted us when we arrived in Kathmandu, with a shuttle from the airport to the hotel, plus a briefing on our itinerary. Next day he took us around to finish preparing our gear, and introduced us to our guide, Mr. Shiva Lamsal. While we ended up sticking to the original plan of 12 days hike to the EBC and back, they both let us know we would be free to take the trek at any pace, and if we needed more days, that would be completely fine. No rush. At the trail we had a wonderful time, the selected tea houses were nice and cozy, and we completed most of the day hikes within the stipulated time without feeling exhausted. Having said so, we recommend their team for the EBC or any adventure in Nepal. We will be back in the future, definitely. Fernando Saccon Edmonton, Canada9 contribution

Just book your Everest Base Camp trek already!

I just had the trip of a lifetime and I want to thank Ram, Santosh, and Bikram for making it all possible! If this is your first time going to Everest Base Camp and want to travel with zero stress, I recommend booking with Imperial Nepal Treks! I selected the Classic Everest Base Camp trek for March 2023 and had a wonderful solo experience! Before booking, I was able to contact the office via WhatsApp. I chatted with Ram Regmi and sent him countless questions which he answered diligently. I recommend asking him about the latest tourist visa info if you haven't been to Nepal before. I’m usually a meticulous planner so he really helped put my mind at ease. As part of the package, he arranged everything from airport pickup, to hotel/lodging, permits, food. All I needed to do was to confirm my international flight to Kathmandu (from USA). When I arrived at Kathmandu, Ram introduced me to my guide Santosh Wagle who walked to Thamel with me and helped me purchase all the gear that I needed. Santosh has over a decade of experience and is very professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. Our flight to Lukla got canceled due to the weather and he was able to reschedule flights and also worked with me to adjust the itinerary. Definitely set your expectations accordingly since even cloud coverage can result in canceled flights. If I didn't have Santosh, this would have resulted in a lot of headache. Once we completed our domestic flight to Lukla, we met with our porter Bikram and got started with our trek. The Himalayan scenery is breathtaking from the moment you step foot into Lukla airport. Santosh shared with me a lot of interesting information about the area such as flowers, animals, trade routes. He took care of me throughout the journey ensuring I was comfortable and that my basic needs were met (Food, hydration, rest). Closer to the top, I also experienced altitude sickness and he guided me through how I can get better by staying warm, drinking garlic noodle soup, and getting rest. He also had altitude sickness medicine which I ended up taking for one day and felt better. At one point, I myself didn’t realize I was dehydrated but he noticed and confirmed that I didn’t drink enough water. He had electrolyte packets which he gave me and I immediately felt better. Since I was solo, both Santosh and Bikram also played double duty as my photographers, and I must admit they got some great pics of me. As you see, Imperial Nepal made a huge difference in my experience navigating all the challenges and were the main reason I reached Everest Base Camp with ZERO stress! This is why I recommend booking with Imperial Nepal Trek and requesting Santosh Wagle as your guide! Thank you Ram, Santosh, and Bikram for an unforgettable experience. PS. They’ve got some great info on their website regarding itinerary, FAQ, and pricing. Regarding pricing, I found it to be very reasonable. Also you will be supporting a Nepali business. The pricing is upfront so you know what to expect. Note that you can also upgrade/downgrade certain parts of the itinerary if you ask. TENZIN T 1 contribution

Well experienced guide and crews

Accommodation and food are well arranged. The crew provided us with a wealth of mountaineering experience and shared a lot of happiness with us. Even if we are not experienced in hiking, they will take good care of us so that we can complete the hiking and enjoy the beautiful scenery and safety. Special thanks to Hari and his team. I recommended this trip to everyone who want to play in the mountains. ????????????? ????????????????????????????? ????????????????????????????????????????? ????Hari?????? ?????????????????? Wonderful experience!

We went on the Annapurna Base camp hike with imperial nepal and with Hari as our guide. Before the trip, the company was very helpful and responded quick to our enquiries. Everything was arranged in detail. On the trip, our guide Hari was very helpful and passionate. He and the team of guides and porters gave us a wonderful experience! Hari took care of us well and make sure the team is comfortable with the pace. We also got a chance to eat the local food there and be exposed to the Nepalese culture. The weather was great and we got to see the sunrise at poonhill and sunset at ABC. Highly recommend! Written November 15, 2019 Vivfj 7 contributions

Amazing trip with Imperial Nepal in

This is my first time to do trekking in Nepal and it was really an amazing trip! Mr Ram helped me to arrange all the things well before I arrived Nepal and responded to my questions quickly. During the trek, my guide, Rajan is very helpful and gave me a lot of encouragement to finish the trek. He briefed me all the details everyday so that I don't have nothing to worry. The spectacular scenery in Poon Hill and along the ABC trek is really impressive. Highly recommend Imperial Nepal and looking forward to do another trekking with this company in the future. Wonderful ABC trek

I was a solo traveler looking to do the trek with a group. I was able to join a family for the trek and had a wonderful time. The scenery of the trek was beautiful and the weather was amazing. The guide, Sujan, and all of the porters were extremely friendly and helpful throughout the entire trek. All of the meals throughout the duration of the trek were delicious and the acommodations at the tea houses were better than expected. I would highly recommend this tour and I can't wait to return to Nepal! Review of: Annapurna Base Camp Trek 14 Days Written November 3, 2019 michelled2742018 Ayutthaya, Thailand6 contributions
