Awesome Trek – Short Annapurna Circuit – 13 days with Imperial Nepal Treks

Great trek, stunning views and landscapes! We had a great tour guide (Dinesh) and porter (Roman) and had a very good time with them. Imperial is a professional agency and Ram, the Travel Manager and owner of the agency, was very flexible and did his best to customize our tour and to make it just a great experience. We can recommend the agency. The only criticism about the circuit is that the hike on the very first and on the very last day is lengthy and tedious following roads where jeeps are passing too. Excellent trekking up to ABC

We went trekking up to Poon hill and ABC under guidance of Imperial Nepal. They did not disappoint. From initial organising of the whole trek by Mr Ram Regmi to the execution by the very able and charismatic guide Sujan with his team of assistant guide Gautam and porters Suman , Api ,Roman ,Kaka. The whole team was v v humble , helpful and sincere. The trek was quite tasking especially to the older ones. Ours was a family group and one extra who joined our group. The group soon divided into 2 - the more fit youngsters in their 20s who would finish about an hour before us each day . The over 50s braved on valiantly , and I am thankful , without any mishaps. The trek has marvellous views , stunning. The cherry on the cake was unwinding and relaxing our sore muscles in the hot springs at Jhinu Danda. Guide Sujan managed both his team of porters and us v well and with respect. He is a v humble person . He never said a cross word , waited patiently and encouragingly for the slow ones ( I was one ) with always an encouraging word. Always tended to our meals and needs at the tea houses with attention to detail. The sense of achievement at the end of the trip is great. Us three siblings got together after a v long time and accomplished this wonderful , fulfilling trek. Madhvi 2 contributions

Annapurna Base Camp Trek 14 Days

Our group of 9 did the 14 day Annapurna Base Camp. We had great response and service from Mr Ram since day one of inquiry regarding the trek. I could not recommend Mr Ram more highly for the quality of service he and his team have provided and also at a very reasonable price. The trek though bit challenging was the most beautiful and scenic trek one could ever see. We also had the perfect weather throughout. We were very fortunate to have Sujan as our guide. He displayed excellent qualities in leadership, patience , knowledge and good humour which made our trip extra special. All the porters were very friendly and humble and did amazing work throughout the trek with a smile. We got 3 great meals per day. We would highly recommend Imperial Nepal for trekking in Nepal. Could not fault their service at all. Mala Shah 2 contributions October 28, 2019

Everest Base camp with Imperial Nepa

I see one of my travel companions has already put his review on (Martin W) I can only agree with all of his comments and that Santosh Wagle was very good at maintaining a pace which allowed everyone (albeit there were only 5 of us) to complete each days trek feeling comfortable, he explained where and when we would find the harder sections of the trek. He also kept the itinerary as flexible as he could and offering us slight alternatives to the written itinerary which we all appreciated. I also liked the fact that we were a small ear group than some of the other trekking companies, I think this enabled us to get to know Santosh, Sushil and the porters more easily. Excellent value for money expertly Led. If you are thinking of going and like small intimate groups then Imperial Nepal is for you. When we visited Nepal overall we were very lucky with the weather as it was warm In the daytime only getting cold the higher we trekked. Most of the porters wore trainers and for the majority of the terrain these would be adequate BUT I would still recommend descent footware to give proper support as there are quite a few boulders to clamber over. Follow your guides pace and advice to get the best experience. As a personal preference we took tablets to avoid any mountain sickness, taking half a tablet in the morning and half at night. We did come across some people who had suffered with AMS, they looked proper poorly. Stay vegetarian above Namche Bazzar to avoid bad meat. The accomodation is simple but dry and always welcoming. If I was to go again I would like to go in spring when the flowers are out and the Base camp is likely to be busy with climbing expeditions. BUT October is still a great time to visit. A memorable Himalayan journey

My 18 day trek to Everest Base Camp included the magnificent Gokyo Lakes and the very famous Chola Pass. Our incredibly experienced, fun, friendly guide, Hari, knew every single mountain peak, every trail, every teahouse and almost every guide and porter that we passed knew our Hari! Every step we took was under the watchful eye of Hari, helping us negotiate trails that were covered in snow and ice. He was truly the best guide you could ever wish for. We encountered some unexpected and unprecedented weather conditions that added some extra challenges to our trek, but Hari never wavered in his positivity and confidence in us to get over The Pass and onto Everest Base Camp. We were a small group of 3 trekkers, I am a very inexperienced trekker but never once felt I would not achieve my dream of reaching Everest Base Camp because Hari was our voice of positivity and always encouraging us that our dream was possible. Our amazing porters Ghobinda and Prashanta were so patient, unbelievably fit and the most kind and happy porters you could ever have. In many areas of the trek where we needed extra help, they would both come back after dropping our heavy bags off, and help us navigate our way safely until I was capable of letting go of their hand. WE DID IT!! THANKYOU SO MUCH HARI, GHOBINDA AND PRASHANTA.

My friend and I did a quick hiking trip out of Kathmandu. We were short on time and Paras from Imperial Nepal organised an overnight hike for us . We hiked to Chisopanih stayed the night and then continued to Nagarkot. Our guide Ramhari Lamsal was very helpful and very friendly and made sure we were comfortable. The views were amazing and it was fantastic to get out in the countryside. I would recommend Imperial Nepal to anyone for all soughts of adventures in Nepal. Anne Oct 2019 • Friends

Excellent service but be flexible

I highly recommend Imperial Nepal Trecks. My wife and I did the 16-day Three High Passes Treck starting 9 September 2019. We went through Kongma-La, Chola Pass and Renjo-La Pass, which also included Everest Base Camp. The toughness of the treck was matched by the toughness of our amazing guide Ram and porter, Su. Ram and Su were an amazing duo; Ram knew all of the mountain names and elevations and he also demonstrated extensive knowledge of the flora and fauna. His willingness to share that knowledge made the trip very memorable. My wife and I noticed that many other guides working for other companies did not provide anywhere near the level of service that ours did. Paras also provided a valuable 'front of house' service in Kathmandu. Due to the volatile nature of weather, make sure you give yourself SEVERAL days of flexibility at the planned start and end dates of the treck as a couple of days of heavy cloud cover at Lukla can prevent some trecks for days. We did not have this problem because we had some flexibility built-in but many other people had to completely cancel because of weather issues and tight timeframes. Daniel B South Perth Australia

Life changing experience

Writing a review was never a thing for me, as a private person. I prefer to keep my journey to myself and those around me. But my trip to Everest Base camp was truly different, it was life changing. From the journey, to the view, the experience and the people we meet. Never I could sum in so little words. Though I can’t share the entire story in this small space (it just doesn’t make justice to the trip), but I could thank the people who made it happen. My guide Gautam Lamsal and his manager Paras Khanal. Watching over our welfare and insuring a safe journey. They were honest and sincere bunch of people that relentlessly watch over us for more then 10 days. For those who travel with Imperial Nepal, you are in safe hands! Will be Back to Khumbu with Imperial Nepal!!

Imagine you have to be with someone in a remote mountain for 16 days, with risk of getting Acute Mountain Sickness (AMS), hiking in an unpredictable weather and no clinic nearby when you get sick. I am sure that the person has to be, not only a trekking guide, but a friend who encourages you, a parents-like person taking care of your well-being (food and sleep), a buddy who shares with you everything about EBC. INT did not pay me to put up a good review but I sincerely think that they can be “the person” mentioned above and deserved “Excellent” rating. My team of 3 received great hospitality during the trek which made us reached EBC and Kala Patthar successfully without any symptoms of AMS or unpleasant experience. We were slow during the trek yet the guide was very patient following our pace. He explained to us on whatever we saw along the trek so that we learnt more about Khumbu region. We are without exception stuck at Lukla aiport for 2 days due to adverse weather condition. INT guide managed the situation well as to allow us get back to Kathmandu as soon as possible. In view of the above, I absolutely recommend INT to be your travel guide in Nepal. Thank you, Imperial Nepal!! Sing Kong

15 days Everest Base Camp trekking

We just came back home from EBC trekking last Sunday( 9 June 2019) . Our trekking guide was Mr. Sujan, the young handsome guy. The trip to Lukla Airport went smoothly with only an hour of delayed. At the Lukla Airport we will met by 2 porters ( Mr. Tilak and another Nepali man) who helped us to carry our luggage . The hiked went pleasantly well until Namche Bazar. After Namche the treks were more steeper and the weather became colder and colder. The lodges that we are staying look nice from outside are actually very basic inside and the bedrooms were very cold at night. Mr.Sujan always made sure we are okay in the morning and have our meals ready before we proceed to next stops. The views of the mountains were very beautiful from Dingboche onwards. Thanks God we have clear weather in the morning. We even have our first time experience hiking in the snowfall from Lobuche to EBC Base Camp even during the month of June! We will all excited and took many pictures along the treks. Even though the hike was tough and tiring ,we felt very happy about it. On the way back , we were stranded in Lukla for 3 days because of the bad weather and no plane can land at the airport. On the 8 June ,when the Airport was cleared for flight to come in , all the hikers that are stranded in Lukla are scrambling to get out of the airport. Mr. Sujan made sure we got the seats to Kathmandu (our connecting flight was 8.00pm that night and our tourist visa expire on that night also). Finally we manage to baoard the plane without Sujan and he told us that he will get the next flight to Ramechap Airport and take the bus to Kathmandu. When we got to Kathmandu , we called Mr. Paras ,who asked us to take a cab to the hotel. Mr. Paras brought us to Thamel so that we could bought some souvenirs back home. We have our lunch in a nice restaurant and Mr.Paras called the company transport to sent us back to Kathmandu Airport for our flight back home. We heard from Mr. Paras that Sujan was still stranded in Lukla due to bad weather and he has decided to hike down to the nearest bus station , that was 3 days hike away from Lukla to get to Kathmandu. Poor Sujan , he sacrified the seat to make sure we safely reached Kathmandu in time. We really want to Mr. Sujan , Paras and the 2 porters that make our hike a memorable one. We will surely recommend Imperial Nepal Trekking to all our friends back home. Kuala Lampur Malaysia
