Tour Description
Mt. Kailash (6,714m/22,028ft) is considered to be the most sacred and holy mountain in the world. This is an adventure travel into the remote Himalayan destination of Tibet. It is one of the famous pilgrimage sites for Hindus and Buddhists. Lake Manasarovar is also the abode of purity like Mount Kailash. Mount Kailash and Lake Manasarovar attract Hindus from all over the world for their religious value. Taking a dip in the Lake Manasarovar and drinking its water is believed to cleanse all sins committed over a lifetime. Hindu pilgrims who trek around the 32 mile circumference of Mount Kailash use the term 'Parikrama' while the Tibetans refer to the clockwise circumambulation as 'Kora'. The circumference starts and finishes at Darchen (4,560m/14,961ft), a small settlement serving as the base camp to the holy mountain. The highest point en-route around Mount Kailash is Drolma La Pass (5,630m/18,472ft). During the trek, there are great views of Tibet’s high mountains including Mt. Shishapangma (8,012m/26,287ft). This tour basically starts and ends in Kathmandu driving through the scenic countryside of Nepal. We cross the Friendship Bridge at Kodari that spans the Bhote Koshi River and marks the Nepal-Tibet border. Border formalities need to be completed while on entry and exit of both Tibet (China) and Nepal.
High Altitude Warning:
The days can be very sunny and bright. It can also snow, rain, hail and become very cold so that cloths are required for all conditions. The trekkers should eat as much as and as often as possible. Alcohol, cigarettes and sleeping pills all thin the blood and must be avoided while at altitude. If there is any symptom of altitude sickness seen, in fact, very little can be done except stop, descend and rest. The Tent at night shouldn't be zipped all the way down. Heat exhaustion can result from lack of air circulation. Our expedition crew will accompany the trek for the entire schedule.
Itinerary
Welcome assistance by Snowy representative at the Tribhuvan International Airport and transfer to hotel in Kathmandu. Rest at the hotel and briefing about the trip. Overnight accommodation is set with BB Plan.

Our representative will pick you up from a hotel in Kathmandu in the morning then we will drive through small mountain roads to the border at Nepalese side, on the way you can enjoy the waterfall, rivers & forest. After arriving in Kerung, We will meet our Tibetan guide and driver at Nepal-Tibet border and make the necessary immigration paperwork and then continue our drive to Kerung town at a distance of 20 Km. Overnight at Kerung town.
One day will rest in Kerung for acclimatization and preparation for hiking. Overnight in kerung
After breakfast your journey will start to saga through Ghantula pass (5226 meter) viewing the beautiful scenery of Brahmaputra river. Overnight in saga
After breakfast you will start your journey to Mansarovar through dongpa mahim la pass and first sight of Holy Kailash Parvat and Mansarovar through Beautiful surroundings.Overnight in Mansarovar
After finishing the holy bath and ritual puja in Mansarovar Lake, we will continue our drive to Darchen which is also known as the base camp of Mount Kailash.Overnight in Darchen.
After the morning breakfast, the drive will start for about 7 km by Bus to Yamadwar. The journey of hiking trip starts by walking along the beautiful hills, waterfalls and beautiful clear blue sky facing the great view of mount kailash.
Before Sunrise your journey begins from Dera puk to zuthul puk passing the highest pass Dolma La pass (of height 5630 Meter) and viewing the holy place gauri kunda on the way .BY afternoon you will reach to Zuthul puk .Overnight in Zuthul puk
The journey of the hiking trip ends after walking for over 2 hours for a distance of around 10 km. After breakfast you will return to Saga by bus. Overnight in saga
After morning Breakfast your drive will start from saga to kerung.
Overnight in Kerung
After morning Breakfast your drive will start from Kerung to Kathmandu through Rasuwagadhi, after reaching Kathmandu in the evening our journey will be completed.
This day we come to hotel and take you to international airport at Kathmandu on your time for departure.
